Short-Term Accommodation and Assistance (STA/Respite)
We offer short-term respite care with integrated support for self-care, accommodation, food and activities in a group residence for short periods.
Short-term accommodation and assistance (STA/Respite) is an NDIS support that is available for up to 14 days.
Imagine taking a break at 'The Lake House" with all the modern conveniences and some extras to make your stay as restorative as possible.
Our STA/Respite care service supports people with disability to have a short stay away from their usual home, while providing planned respite for families caring for a person with disability. Our service is flexible so it can fit into your individual circumstances.
Whether you choose to utilise our STA service for short breaks as needed, or use your STA funding to plan for a holiday break at The Lake House, our goal is to be available for you and your family.
Your Care Hub offers 24 hour support in a 1:3 ratio at "The Lake House" that includes all your meals, activities, transports, supports and accommodation costs.
Respite care aims to support ongoing caring arrangements between yourself and your carers.
STA/Respite allows the opportunity for you to enjoy a short break, supported by someone else whilst providing your carer with short-term breaks from their usual caring responsibilities.
We are also able to provide day programs during your stay.

What Our Clients Are Saying About Respite Care at Your Care Hub
"I had severe Carers burnout and my Autistic Children would not be accepted into any other respite due to their behaviours of concern.
Your Care Hub partnered with their Behaviour Support Practitioners and learned how to manage the kids triggers and their interest areas to make respite fun for them.
I finally got the chance to trust my kids would be okay and happy and take a break. I haven’t felt peace being away from my kids in years."
